Hi, I’m Natalie
I’m a passionate designer who thinks in three dimensions, with a focus in sustainability and creative problem solving. Over a decade working in apparel design has allowed me to refine my expertise, blending functionality, innovation and aesthetic with eco-conscious solutions.
Growing up in the Pacific Northwest instilled in me a deep respect for nature and a belief in the role designers play in addressing our most pressing challenges. I integrate this into my work through sustainable design strategies, systems thinking, and an enduring persistence in the face of obstacles.
Beyond design, I thrive in collaborative environments, leading teams and mentoring talent while tackling complex projects, whether it’s creating impactful apparel, building my own tiny house, or working with ceramics and other art media.
I hold a Master’s degree in Sustainable Design, where my thesis is focused on the impact that apparel designers have to create change. It features a tool called the Apparel Designer’s Impact Tool, designed to improve decision making and product outcomes. This academic foundation, combined with my hands-on industry experience, continues to shape my approach to design as a conduit for meaningful, lasting impact.
